Malfunctions and Limp Wristing
There is validity in a firearm malfunctioning when a shooter has a limp wrist. Why? Not enough energy to move the slide back far enough relative to the frame to cycle the action. Sufficiently holding of the firearms mass and the shooters grip and/or straightened wrist will guide the slide to avoid catching up. The recoil spring will not fully compress and the slide will move forward without enough energy and force to cycle the bullet. Commit to the grip, commit your wrist. Hold firm!
